Finally I get to upload some of the images I shot a few months ago in the old city of Nicosia.

The Old City is full of buildings that have once been inhabited by prominent citizens back in the 19th and 20th century.

The doors of these houses were (still are) a piece of art since they were painted with different bright and deep colors and the windows were protected by metal bars that were bent and twisted to create different shapes and designs.

Elias is the physical education teacher at our school and besides being passionate about his work and his students, he is also a loving husband and the dad of two beautiful children! He calls his family “the light of my life”.

It was a great honor and thrill for me to go over to their place yesterday and capture some of the bright moments in their lives.

Below are some of my favorite images.
